The business area of Industrial Service provides crane maintenance services for all makes of industrial cranes and hoists. We the original service provider for both Konecranes, Demag and Morris equipment. Our key objective is to improve the safety, productivity, and sustainability of our customers’ operations today and in the future. Behind great service are great people. Our Service Technicians ensure that our customers’ crane systems and hoists run efficiently. As a Service Technician, you can expect to engage in a broad range of varying duties – from planned maintenance and servicing to solving complex tasks that challenge you as a professional within a variety of industrial environments. Two days are never the same working as a Service Technician!
Your main responsibilities will include:
- You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on electric overhead travelling cranes
- Trouble- shooting equipment breakdowns.
- Consult with customers on repair and safety related issues.
- Complete appropriate documentation through your mobile device.
What kind of skills and qualifications are we looking for?
- Apprentice-trained or equivalent and conversant with electrical principles
- Engineering experience: Electrical: 415v ac 3 phase motor contactor control circuits both squirrel cage and wound rotor. An understanding of 110/48 volt relay and contactor circuits. Some frequency speed control device experience. Mechanical: Medium to large drive couplings, brakes, and reduction gearboxes.
- You are health and safety focused and know the risks associated with working at height
- You have a current driving licence
- You have a good command in English language
- Experience working with overhead cranes and hoists is preferred, working in an industrial environment as a minimum.
